I have a 06 ford ranger sport with out cruise. I changed column for tilt column now I have a new wheel with buttons will a clock spring from explorer sport 2000-2003 or 2000-2005 explorer sport track interchange so I can install factory cruise that wires will fit to factory dash wire loom ? I have been told that but before I buy would like to know. Part #5L5T-14A664-AA does any one know

You can cross-reference part numbers with Rockauto.

If the part numbers between the same manufacturer line up, then the answer is Yes..... Usually.

Do know that the Explorer began changing a lot in 2002. 95-01 is the most compatible, wiring wise, with the Rangers from 98-03. In 04 the Ranger's wiring began changing quite a bit, including the removal of the GEM and went to a SJB. Although that being said, just about anything that can be done from 98-03 can usually be done to an 04-11, albiet just a bit more complicated in some cases.

If you replaced your column with a tilt unit that had the cruise pods on the steering wheel, you should already have the correct clock spring in it. Look under the dash and you should see a tan connector that would coincide with the pigtail from the clock spring harness.
