Oil on top of the spark plug
HI guys i looking to get help. Today i was replacing the spark plugs on my dad f150 V8 4.6L the first 2 plugs i changed where normal wear on them but then i got to the 3rd plug different story when i removed it. It was covered in oil and the same for the 4th one the 2 left top ones looking at the truck from the front.
Can it be a gasket of the from the valve cover if a gasket not sure which one it
the right all 4 where normal just those 2
Thanks and advances

probably the seal around the spark plug hole on the valve cover. It's not uncommon for a OHC motor to leak a bit of oil onto the plugs. Change the gasket and those seals and it should take care of the problem, but if you get too much oil up there it'll start to short out and miss real bad.
