Just bought a 1994 Ford Ranger 3.0 V6 almost 4 weeks ago. When i bought it, all that they told me was wrong was a small coolant leak, i had to wait a week to fix it because i had some complications with getting the part, then i drove it for a week and it was fine, it just had problems starting one night where i changed the battery and it started, then the next time it happened about 3 days later, i just left it and it worked in the morning, the next time it happened i tapped the starter and it worked although I'm not sure that's what fixed it because the starter wasn't not working. Then the head gasket started leaking that same night and the next day i put some sealant in there and that worked. Now to get to the point, It was at this time i started to replace some parts trying to fix this starting problem. I started with the battery (mentioned earlier) then i changed the fuel pump, May 15th, then i changed the fuel filter, May 17th, and then on the fatal day, May 19th, after driving off and on until about 13:15, i park the car and go inside for 2 hours come back out and the truck wont start. On that day (May 19th), i went to the auto parts store and got a new distributor cap, with new spark plugs and new spark plug wires and the truck still did not start. It took me a couple days to get all the spark plug wires out of the truck becuz one had broken off and it was a real pain to get it out. After i had changed all that i could think on the electrical side i went to air and got a new intake becuz my intake had holes in it. I replaced the intake on Sunday and it still did not start. Over the last two days I've been testing different things, and i got a spark plug tester to confirm that my spark was good, and they were all good. Then i got a fuel pump tester and i tested the fuel pressure and it says i do not have any pressure in the fuel rails. This caused me today to go get a multimeter and test the fuses etc. So I've tested the fuel pump relay and the continuity read 68 ohms, google is telling me that 60-80 is normal so I'm not worried. Then i tested the fuse box (where i plug the relay) and it read 10.35 V which is odd becuz that's lower then it should be so I've researched. I then went down to the fuel pump inertia and that read 9.82 V. Odd again. Then i went down to the fuel pump relay and tested that, and it read the lowest at around ~9.02 V (aprox. becuz this was the only one i forgot to write down becuz it started to rain) then i tested the other two holes in the wire and it read ~7.82 V. TO CLARIFY, all of the readings i took with a multimeter where with the key in the "on" position. When I had tried to crank it the readings did not change.During the testing of the wires, i went ahead and replaced the Fuel Pump Regulator, just to hit all my bases, incase that was the problem. (it was not) The moral of the story is I'm really not certain what is wrong here or where I'm losing power at so any help or tips or maybe someone actually knows what they're doing, any of that would be appreciated. this is what is underneath the fuel regulator looks like some rust or something is in the lines but i wasn't able to clear it. Maybe something clogging the lines??
Attached video is what it sounds like.
