Cranking and not starting when hot
Cranking and not starting when hot
Hi all! I am new to this forum and all forums for that matter but I really need some help and I can’t quite find what I’ve been needing help with. I have a 2005 ford ranger 3.0 w/60k miles and my truck starts fine in the morning sometimes a little bit of cranking but nothing crazy. Then if I drive 5 miles and heat everything up and stop and shut the truck off for 5 or so minutes it will crank and never start. Now today when the truck was sitting in the direct sun during work (8hrs) I was leaving to go home and wouldn’t start at all tried for roughly 30 minutes with no luck. The parts I have replaced are following
-camshaft position sensor
-plugs
-wires
-coil pack
-fuel filter
- starter
-battery
if I think of anything else I’ll add it. Any help would be just awesome and I would appreciate it! Have a great weekend!
