I recently bought my first Ford, a 98 Ranger. Love it! However I notice the fog lights only come on with the headlights. I got in the book and it shows the left headlight runs on its own fuse and that the right one runs on a fuse that is linked with the fog lights. How can I make them run with the parking lights? I've been told that Ford did it like that to keep from burning up switches, not sure? Any ideas?

 

The relay coil needs to be powered from the brown parking light wire instead of from the dark blue/light green that powers the right headlight. Here's the procedure for the 98. Unfortunately, the pictures are no longer working:
