CB Antenna Help needed..

hey all!..

well i have a new CB, and i think i'm gona try and do a different antenna setup, before i had dual 4' firesticks.. but this time i think im gona go with a single 8' or so stainless whip. and the thing i need help with is i think im gona do it humvee style and have it mount rear and fold down to like the cab area for storage like the humvees do.

sooo i was wondering if any of ya could help try and find the clips/mounts for this aplication.. that would be awsome!!
thanks for the help!

Andy

i dont know if its clear enough what you are thinking, you are placing the antennae in the back and are looking for a hinge at the bottom of the antennae to be able to bend it forward?

I know what your talking about, i just searched on google for like 30 min, and couldnt find anything...couldnt you just build some kind of a hook to bend it back and hook it to when you want it back?

Rocky

EDIT...i found this...is this anything like what your wanting?

Man, I wish you had told me about this a few months ago, we threw out a TON of those. Just ask John about the solar panels. The stuff the Army throws out is awesome...right now my nephews are running around with an inert LAW, among the other things I "find" for my truck....I knew I should have grabbed everything I could!

Hey Ranger interceptor, I have a 102" radio shack whip in my garage, only used one summer, I would be happy to let you have it for free, If your interested, just let me know. I will dig it out tomorrow.
