DDM HID Hi/Low Kit

So I just switched out my old DDM 35w lows with DDM 35w hi/lows but the there is 3 wires I have to hook up in a blue headlight clip. Anybody know how the 3 wires hook up in the clip?

White?
Orange?
Blue?

Thank you

Just hooked them up but my hi/low is opposite. Such as low beams are high and high beams are low. The high beam light is on when my low beams of my hids are lite. How do I fix this?

Casper98 Nov 25, 2010 02:32 PM

Blue should be middle so switch white and orange.

Ford04Ranger4.0 Nov 25, 2010 02:51 PM

Just changed it to White, Orange, Blue. Still backwards.

Casper98 Nov 25, 2010 02:56 PM

What about Orange, Blue, White?

Ford04Ranger4.0 Nov 25, 2010 02:56 PM

I know you said your doing this left to right but do you mean by standing in front of the clip (open end) or flat flush end?

Casper98 Nov 25, 2010 02:57 PM

Like in the picture flat side up and clip side up

Ford04Ranger4.0 Nov 25, 2010 02:58 PM

Ok so as if you where standing behind the flat side.

I need somebody who has the 35w DDM HID Hi/Low kit!!!

Casper98 Nov 25, 2010 03:34 PM

I take it that didn't work.

your only option left is
Blue,Orange,White

and I've got the 35W Hi/lo Kit but my wires were red, white, black

Ford04Ranger4.0 Nov 25, 2010 03:39 PM

I gave up, Im pissed. Im guessing it doesnt matter how its hooked up as long as they work for now.

Casper98 Nov 25, 2010 03:41 PM

what's it doing? when you have them right you lows will be lows for your Hi's you'll have you push the stick forward. If you pull back on the lever for flash to pass and you get nothing you have them right.

Ford04Ranger4.0 Nov 25, 2010 04:31 PM

When its on Lows the lights are wicked bright and alot of distance. When I flick to Hi it goes low to the road.

Casper98 Nov 25, 2010 04:43 PM

when your lows are on, is you high beam indicator lit on your dash?

btm757 Nov 25, 2010 04:55 PM

Make sure you post some output pictures. Cause no one will post Hi/Low configuration against a wall and on the road with the DDM setup.

Then you have them wired up right, when you push the lever forward do the bulbs move and you Hi indicator come on?

Yes but I can tell they arent wired right cause I get more distance with the highbeam dash light off. I can see where the beam is with the dash light on (low beams) cause the hid lights drop in front of the truck. With the dash light off you can tell its the high beam. I know it sounds confuesing. :dunce:

I'm thinking about getting this kit soon so I hope we can both get it right!

Still no luck?
