Bad brake pads maybe? What brand are your pads? Also did you or somebody else install them? Also humid climates or places where salt is used a lot to clear ice off the roads maybe a problem too. Lastly I had a squeaky brakes a while back. I took the wheel of along with the caliper and cleaned off the pad with light sandpaper. I just barely grazed the surface. And now no problems or squeakyness if that's a word haha.

I'd call around to a couple auto parts suppliers and have them look uo replacement pads for your truck. When they sya they have them etc. ask what type are they? (mettallic, non-metallic etc) then call a couple other places, and see if they all agree. Then call Ford dealer and say you need brakes for a truck you just bought used. Ask same questions and see if all answers are the same. Bottom line, is that the type of pad makes a difference and if the rotors are polished/glazed, that will make the problem worse. You could also shop on line and perhaps get the answers.
