Dimmer switch trouble 2003
 

Hey I have a 2003 ranger and I'm having electrical trouble. My dimmer switch keeps poping the fuse in slot 33 under my hood(head lamps) the same fuse that lights my dash, my rear running lights and my dinger when my doors open and lights are on. I've pulled it apart and noticed a blue wire with a red stripe was fried. So I replaced it( from the dimmer to a harness behind my radio)

It's still poping the fuse once I roll the dimmer, any ideas? What do I do?! Please help

i have the same issue it has been like this for 2 years now....i put led lights in the dash for the time being but let me know if you find anything out
