Dome light comes on when opening from outside, but not from inside
1996 Ranger...I can open door from outside and dome light works. If I open door from inside, it doesn't. I also noticed the dinging stopped. I can turn dome on/off from dash. The dimmer is correct and works. I searched for this but not want I needed. Any help is appreciated.
I was just researching and there are two jam switches in the door. The all plastic one is like $10.00. There is a all metal one also which is like 80.00+... any idea what the metal one does. I changed out the plastic one.
