1995 ford ranger my dome light stays on after I shut my truck off and it won’t shut off. Any idea of the problem?

 

Check the Dimmer wheel and make sure its not turned up all the way, that turns on the dome light
And this wheel can break internally so if it "feels funny" or doesn't work then thats most likely the problem

A door switch could be grounded, do you have a "door ajar" light on the dash?

Does the dome light have a switch on it?
Some do, it can get stuck in ON

Best bet is to pull the bulb so battery doesn't die, until you fix the problem
