DTC B1932 Air Bag
So about to hit 200k miles today and the way my car decides to thank me for takin good care of it is by giving me problems witg my airbag. Got the code. Its b1932. Which is driver air bag circuit high resistance. Jus wondering if any of you had same.problem and possibly a solution. Says it could be a couple things.
Thanks! |
Clear the code.
That usually doesn't come up unless the Bag deploy's |
Interesting. Ill get the code cleared tomorrow at work cuz i hate having to reset my radio settings. Hopefully it doesnt come bak n it was jus a computer fart.
You dnt think it cpuld b a bad connection or bad control module? |
Nah, That would be a different code.
Yea, it was quite a weird thing to see that code pop. If it happens again, then i'd chase it down. |
I went on alldata and it said it was a high resistance or open circuit to one of 4 differ things. To unplug the control module and see if u get the code and if not then replace the module and if you did see the code to go to step j3. Unplug and test ohms on connector c255 circuit 614. seemed like all the tests were from under the dash.
i read that it might be the clockspring-which is behind the steering wheel. which would make some sense to me because my steering wheel makes alot of noise, not grinding but sliding and friction type noise when turn it. and it almost looks like its pulled out of the dash slightly. IDK it doesnt look right. |
take a picture man.
