kc daylighter wiring ?

hey guys im looking at the wiring harness and instructions and everything but one thing makes sense to me. I know the yellow wire with an inline fuse is the 12v that im going to attach to the battery. BUt i dotn understand where the white white with the inline fuse that comes off the switch goes to? the instructions say supply-3A- High beam,Low beam,Or battery? My buddy said that he had his installed by somone and they guy stuck it in a fuse in the fuse box? Im not sure where this white wire goes? anybody know?

The white wire triggers the relay to turn the KC lights on at the correct time. Pick one:

Possible to operate KCs with high, low or parking lights:
Connect the white KC wire to the WHITE/BLACK wire at the headlight switch or to the BROWN wire at the front corner.

Possible to operate KCs with high beams only:
Connect the white KC wire to the LT GREEN/BLACK wire at the DS headlight or the LT GREEN/BLACK wire from fuse 33 of the dash box.

Possible to operate KCs with low beams only:
Connect the white KC wire to the WHITE/LT GREEN wire at the DS headlight or the WHITE/LT GREEN wire from fuse 4 of the dash box.

zack when you say 12+ does that mean 12v? i want my lights to be able to turn on when i have the power on. I know the yellow wire goes right to the battery, should i connect the white to the battery?

So by hooking them up to the high beams, do they turn on when the high beams turn on? If I do this would I still be able to turn on my KCs when the headlights are off?

Yes.

If you want to be able to turn on the KCs anytime, then you need to connect the white wire to a wire that is always hot. If you want them to come on only when the ignition is on, then you need to connect the white wire to a wire that is hot in run.

Is it possible to get both of these? Would ou happen to know which wire to splice into if this is possible?

It is possible to do both but would require additional relays or diodes to make it work.

it would be ok to connect the white wire from the switch to the sig lighter power since all that does is power the switch and tell the relay to turn on the light, right?
