EATC is in... but fan's not blowing. Help FAST

Like it says, the EATC is in and wired up. The diagnostic runs just fine, but air's not coming from the vents. I've double checked the fan speed controller wiring and I think it's ok. Do I need to use the ground from the controller? The How-to says that you don't need to, but I can't think of anything else that might be wrong. I tested the fan speed controller a few weeks ago and it checked out fine. Is there a chance that during installation it went bad?

EDIT: Well I had grounded the speed controller wrong. Actually, I hadn't grounded it at all. I'd grounded the 14 ga. wire that came from the truck harness, not the 10 ga that came from the controller. Now the blower will only run at full speed. I torched the speed controller didn't I?

Also the blower only runs out the defroster vents... any ideas on that one?

Something's wrong in the vacuum to the A/C controls. Without a vacuum supply, the system defaults to defrost. Be sure that the vacuum harness is connected and that it is the special EATC harness. Check that all of the individual vacuum lines are still hooked up under the hood and under the dash.

When my first fan controller died, it would only run at full speed.

Where are the vacuum lines under the hood? I don't think I disconnected any of them.

Do you have a spare fan controller laying around by any chance? haha.

The vacuum goes from the intake manifold to the spherical vacuum reservoir under the air filter to the AC box. There are also individual vac lines under the dash that may have been dislodged during the installation.

Sorry, I have no spare parts.

I swear this thing is going schizo on me! The speed controller works now just great :biglaugh:

I can't figure out why the vacuum harness isn't working though. It's the EATC harness and from what I can tell, it's all plugged in right.

Well a big heartfelt thank you to Bob, John, and Stephen (FUZE) for all their help in getting my EATC FULLY FUNCTIONAL!

Turns out you have to have the engine running to get the vaccuum working
