Hitch installation

If you plan on lifting AND dual exhaust you definitely need to get the U-Haul hitch. I had the problem of space and couldn't fit any other hitch with 3" exhaust tips and shackles. The U-Haul hitch actually goes INSIDE the frame where others go outside. And this one bolts on where your bumper brackets go using new nuts and bolts. Simple install that saved $80 and it held the whole back of my truck off the ground later that night, so I KNOW it's reliable and very sturdy.

I recently installed a class III hitch on my 06 ranger sport. The hitch made by Curt manufacturing. I bought through jc whitney on line. The hitch installation was simple(no drillilng), but the hitch is a very tight fit against my spare tire. I emailed curt manufacturing and told them of the problem, they advised that I should not have a problem lowering my spare tire . I hope they are right.
