Gauge Pod

Hi. I have a 94 ranger supercab w/4.0 & 199,900 K. What would it take to remove my gauge pod wo/tach & install another one w/tach!!!

I'm not sure about the 94's but it might be as simple as getting a cluster with a tach and plugging it in. On the 95 and later it is that easy.

From my understanding of it, as long as you get a pod with one it should just work. You may run into issues with newer ones. I don't know if anything changed in the computers in the new one. Someone who has the done the install might be able to help more.
