Electrical gremlins
Electrical gremlins
Hey guys, new to the forum, I help a few people out with their rangers and have had a gremlin pop up that has me scratching my head.
1999 Ranger 4.0 manual is intermittently not charging, I have replaced the alternator and voltage regulator, tested both, the wiring to the alternator, a new battery, and replaced the mega fuse, it ran fine and was charging with no parasitic drains found, but the radio went out 2 days ago and now it’s back to no start. I have already gone through this twice with this truck. The second time I tested the alternator and regulator again and the battery again and everything checked out.
