My buddy has a few fans laying around and I want to put them on my truck and get rid of the fan on the motor...He said I need a harness to hook them up that has a thermostat that pushes into the radiator....what im wondering is how much these run and where I can get them from?

It's a bit pricey but will allow you to control the fans in any way you want.

Tune the fan turn on point by turning a screw
Ramps the fan startup amps

I wired mine up to a switch in the cab. I plan to run the fan based on the water temp gauge and as often as I'd like. I used outdoor extension cord for the wires, and used a relay from my 5.0 donor truck.
