Engine wire harness issue?

Trouble trouble trouble! Have a ranger 4.0 ohv with scorched cylinder 6, did an engine swap with 99 explorer 4.0 ohv...kept the original harness with the truck had to switch out cam position sycronizer to get correct pin sensor in(3 prong)...engine run poorly, idles smooth just no power upon acceleration. Underpowered! Yes synchro in installed correctly nothing coming up for codes but bank 1 sensor 2 ( which I put a new o2 sensor on and still comes up). Also vent for fuel. Which vac line was disconnected and plunged prior to ownership. Not the fuel getting the 44psi at the rail while running, not the injectors switched them out and never was a code of any sort, not the oil pressure or voltage as everything reads to spec!! I switched the engine again with a 97 explorer 4.0 using same electrical harness, same damn thing, isles smooth no power!! Could it be a harness as the o2 sensor ( bank 1 sensor two ) shows a code. I have inspected harness and cleaned connectors many times! Using two did a snapon high dollar code readers two did mechanics looking at this one, these guys are the best and still can’t figure it out, any ideas??
