I bought these tail lights,

93 00 Ford Ranger Tail Lights LED Black Housing Smoke Lens Tail Lamp Pair | eBay

I installed them and have a couple of issues. When I plug in the three wired plugs into the sockets that coordinate with the holes, my reverse lights stay on as running lights, and the brake lights act as reverse lights. When I try switching up the sockets to he other that will no fit those hole I can get them to work. The issue that happens when I do this, would be that I cannot put the sockets into the right holes and make them moisture free... AND the brake lights will not light up ANY brighter than the running lights. The turn signals will light up brightly, but the brakes, are a no go. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Please help, it's memorial weekend so contacting the ebay seller is a non receptive one

 

well, you could return them, you could rewire the plugs to the harness, or idk. thats about it.


id just cut and rewire the bulbs to the harness.

 

Doing that still would not resolve the brake lights not flashing brighter than the running lights when the lights are one issue.
