Explorer Power Seats Wiring - Different

I'm about to install a set of full power explorer seats. My idea is that I only want the current flowing to the seats when the key is on. I was going to have a factory wire feed the relay and then have the relay power the seats.

What would be a good wire to turn the relay on?

Find an ignition wire under the dash..

30 12V+ from battery
85 ground
86 hot wire when ignition is on
87 to positive on the seats (split for the two of them)

Ya wiring up the relay is easy. I just wanted to know which hot wire when the iginition was on would be enough to power a relay. I realize the relay is very low amperage. Don't you think that is the best way to wire them up?

I wired them straight to the battery. I didn't see a need to only put them on the ignition, what if I need to move the seats and I don't have my keys? That's why I did it that way...

I see where you are coming from I guess I will just put a fused line to the battery.

Is the seat belt the only electrical thing connected right now? I have taken my seats out before and had to undo two wiring connections. Whenever I had my passenger seat pulled my airbag light would flash. I haven't taken them out to swap yet but wanted to be prepared.
