I recently did a heater core on my 2005 Ford Ranger. As I was putting the dash back in there was an extra wire connector. It is located in the passage side in the kick panel. I was able to start the truck but now my ac is not working most likely because if the wire. Any thoughts of what it could be.

Is the speaker on that side working? Is the dome light working off that door switch? That remids me of the connector that controls those 2 things.

 

Does the Fan work?

3 of those wire colors match Fan switch plug in on back of climate control
