The KC wiring harness is nice....and easy to hook up. I had 6 Daylighters on my old International....loved them!

cool cool, to wire up 4 lights i would only need 2 harness' correct? one for each pair.
im wanting to run some fog lights and long range lights up front and dont want too many wires to snake around ha

If you get a set of two, packaged together, you'd get wire harness with them....two harnesses for 4 lights, yes. I believe you can switch them with 1 switch if you wanted...but i've got my 4 on seperate switches....2 per switch. The kits come with a pretty dang good wire diagram so you wouldn't mess it up. lol. I alwyas route my wires through a hole slit through the steering shaft at the firewall.....i used my boxcutter to cut a slit in the rubber boot. Although, I really need to address that issue by drilling a good sized hole in the fire wall(with a grommet of course)....i'm getting too many accesories coming through that hole!

you might be better off getting a 12" LED light bar. 4 of those plus wiring kit will be about $550. The LED bar will be $500 plus a wiring kit

If you run the LED bar you just need to mess with 2 wires coming off of it instead of 8 wires with the KC's.

I have the 22" led bar on the buggy and it is BRIGHT.

haha how are you getting 500 for 4 lights?
they are about 115 for a pair of lights and wiring harness.. so 230 for 4 lights.

but i want to see the LED bars brightness

with the long range lights, does it just light up a "spot" a long distance away, or does it light up the whole area from the light to the fartest spot(if that makes any sense at all)

i should probally get my headlights aligned before i worry about offroad lights haha. but an HID kit will probally come first before some KC's or something.

I have two of the "spot light" KCs and it mainly just lights up a spot ahead. They don't light up everything aorund. I can drive with just them on but it's like driving with blinders on. You can't see anything off to the side just ahead. I'm wanting to add 2 driving lights but I need to add two light tabs to my bumper.

so do you think 2 "flood lights" would yeild a wider area of light even if not as far

According to that chart it looks like the driving lights aren't any wider than my long range lights. I think somebody with the driving lights should chime in and have their person experience/input.

actually i thought the same thing but if you look a little further back you can see the color bleeds just a bit into toe fog area between the OEM low beam and KC fog lights

That sir I have no answer for, I would guess it would be like a 130 watt halogen that just floods the area with no real pattern.

I think those are used for more as work lights.

I will be running 4 long range and 2 driving and 2 fogs on my ranger.

I have some 150w driving lights for sale, a lot cheaper good condition, you'll just need the wiring kit. Check out my profile.

I loved them, they turned night into day! If I had push bar still, they would still be mounted.
