no instruments or charging.

Hey, I have a 2003 ranger 3.0. I have had it since new, it was a great truck until. Well I pulled out a fuse while it was running. Dumb I know. Now none of my gauges work and it dosen't charge the battery. If I jump power at the alt. it will charge and it makes the oil pressure gauge work.?? Yes, all the fuses in the panels check good with a multimeter.?
Any help would be nice.

Not sure how pulling a fuse would do what your stating, but I'd first get your alternator checked and then see if you can pick up a new cluster from a pick and pull.

To me it sounds like somehow the cluster got fried and your alternator went dead, but I have no idea how pulling a fuse would do that. I would assume it would just kill the circuit. Also, you don't need to post this 3 times to get someone to answer. If anything that will make people just not look at your posts because you look like a spam bot.

thanks

Well the alt. checks out on the machines, and charges when I install a jumper wire. Thanks for the spam bot heads up. I have never posted on a forum before
