Whats up with my brakes?

Ok i changed my brake pads a few days ago cause they were metal on metal. I pulled the outside pad and it still had a tiny bit of pad left. The inside pads on both front wheels were down to the metal and ate the inside of my rotor up. I went ahead and put the pads on knowing in a few months im gonna have to replace them again and the rotor. What would cause the uneven wear?

Your rotors being warped or some mud getting in between the pads and the rotors.

Yep, gotta pay to play. I didn't clean mine off last time and the brakes wore super quick after that. I haven't been out since then though so I should be good to go for a while.

Also, the piston is on the inside, while the outside slides on pins. So if the pins arn't lubricated, it'll push harder on the inside. Try lubing the pins when you do the brakes next.

thanks for the advice. Ill be sure to do that as well. Im sure if mud gets packed into those pins it will keep it from sliding smoothly. Is that a special grease i gotta buy?
