is this a recent happening? i think there is some sort of relay or wire diagram thing located in the passenger side mirror... i remember you talking about an accident you had earlier where the mirror was destroyed, this has probably messed up that sensor relay thing, what year did the replacement mirror come from? i know for a fact that that might be triggering the problem, while this keeps occurring you probably shouldnt drive your truck just to save gas cause im sure your milage is shot too... maybe try driving your 12 other cars that you own and work on?

MeThinks Mr Carl needs a little more fiber in his diet.

Caimen , do you have a locking gas cap ? Someone at school may have decided to "help themselves" .

i didn't see the other stuff you are arguing about with other members, but could it be your sending unit? or maybe a fuse that blew.

They do that. You drive down hill and you have less gas. Up hill more gas. ALL cars will do something like that. Park it on a level surface. Either wait, or shut it off and re start it. And it will magically show the correct amount.

You bring it on yourself. Cut out the b.s. that you talk and maybe things will be good.

I will assist with your problem; Put gas into it, then the gas guage will go up to the F. As you drive the guage will slowly drop down to the E. That should solve your problem.
