Gas Guage is experiencing difficulties..
Okay so today i drove to class with a half a tank when i came out and started the truck it was at just under a quarter tank ... and its only a 3mile drive ... so on my way home i was going down the hill and observed my gas guage dropping ... when climbing the next hill the gass Guage wen tback up to a quarter tank .. Im like WTF and now i have come to you ranger gods for answers ... please help

is this a recent happening? i think there is some sort of relay or wire diagram thing located in the passenger side mirror... i remember you talking about an accident you had earlier where the mirror was destroyed, this has probably messed up that sensor relay thing, what year did the replacement mirror come from? i know for a fact that that might be triggering the problem, while this keeps occurring you probably shouldnt drive your truck just to save gas cause im sure your milage is shot too... maybe try driving your 12 other cars that you own and work on?
i dont think anybody syphoned anything out ... i just think the guage is messed up but im not sure what could have done this ... i mean the guage goes up and down while i go down the road lol im not sure what to think of that
It may be a while till you get a legit comment.

good point lol .. and wtf fx4 ... u told me to only log on when i have a problem and look what happened there still bein *******s
They do that. You drive down hill and you have less gas. Up hill more gas. ALL cars will do something like that. Park it on a level surface. Either wait, or shut it off and re start it. And it will magically show the correct amount.
I will assist with your problem; Put gas into it, then the gas guage will go up to the F. As you drive the guage will slowly drop down to the E. That should solve your problem.
