Getting sick of waiting...

for Bob to find the time to help me, so I'm turning to you guys. Yes, I've searched, no, I haven't found anything I have deemed helpful, so I'm posting now. Flame me all you want, but it's a waste of your time -

I need help wiring my hellas to the rest of my lights. I have them bolted on to the bumper, I just don't know where to begin now that I need to wire them. What do I take apart, what do I splice together...? all that good junk. If you could start from the very beginning and put it in baby terms, I won't be offended...

IF you could provide me a run down of what you have installed already; such as....... relay amperage ratings, the gauge of wire (lighting amp draw allowance) you have for 12V +/- going into the relay, the gauge wiring going to the existing lights, how many lights and what wattage they are.... ???
Need to make a judgement on whether you can tie into the existing wiring or have to run new wiring, relays, etc.......
What is the wattage and number of new lights you want to tie in?

OR 4x4

What do lights do you want to tie into? My PIAAs are just on a seperate switch. Do you want them to come on with say your fogs, headlights, or reverse lights or anything?

I wanna do the wiring...Kurt, you were too distracted by the Maverick. Ryan, it's not that he's too lazy, he's just not doing it on my time, so that makes me mad. lol. Kyle, I want to wire them in with my brights so I don't need a switch. Charles, I don't have a clue...they're just the hellas Kris (itscheddarbaby) had on his explorer and jeep...they're hand-me-downs! LoL John - I'm impatient We got them yesterday (Sat) and painted them (just black enamel), and I MADE Bobby tell me how to put them on today. I did, however, need lots of help to do it, which pissed us all off...lol

Haha, damn you're good. I had a hell of a time with them myself at first. Good luck with wiring the lights, but with no cussing and throwing of tools, I don't have the ability to figure things out...and I'd have to be there to do that.

go to a place that carries KC daylighters and ask if you can steal the instructions out of the box. the instructions have some pretty in depth wiring charts for low beams and high beams.

EDIT: maybe this will help you out?
