97-04 Conversion

How much money? What do I need? Any links?

You wanna make your 97 into a 04 front end? There are numerous topics on what parts are needed for the swap. They should be the same parts that are needed for a 98-00 to a 01+ swap.

fenders, hood, header panel, lights, grille bumper valance.

may as well go to an 06, make it the newest you can

you also need the core support welded on as the 93-97 wont work, however a 98-06 will work

So im looking at more than $600 I guess. Paint is not an issue. I can get that done cheap or free. Im just talking about parts prices.

well over that you need fenders, hood, core support, radiator support(as scotty G sayed you have to grind out your old one and weld in a new one) Fab up custom bumper brakets because the fame is different. few headlight wiring, headlights, grille, odd and end clips, bumper, valance. and a few other things

go to RPS.com do a search there is a few GREAT threads over there about it. acully i posted something about it here if you search also. they guy over at RPS that did it was whitegoust or something.

i know Brentons was easier but talk to him..cuz he still doesnt have front blinkers..

its the little stuff that your not thinkin of that will come back and kick you in butt

98+ truck it works fine there is lot more needed to be done to the 97 and under truck most people dont understand this. i researched it when i got the splash it isnt as simple as the 98+ vehicals
