ABS issue on 2004 Ranger 4.0V6 4X2

Hi all, Hope someone can help me here....My ABS light has been on for a while. I took it to one of my buddies who plugged his laptop in. It showed that the left rear has an issue. He took the sensor out and cleaned it and swapped it withe the right rear and checked again on the laptop but it still shows the left rear as being faulty which means the sensor is ok. I phoned Ford to find out how much the pick up would be (as this is the only next thing that can be the issue) and they told me it is not sold seperately and is part of the whole shaft and is R7000 (which is ridulculous). Does anybody know whether this can be bought seperately and where? I ve only managed to find this site in the UK ABS Reluctor Ring for Ford Ranger Mk1 (99-06) - PRO-COAT - 10 YEAR GUARANTEE but it's for the front. HELP PLEASE
