Head scratcher after a tranny rebuild
Not a problem, just one of those pure ******* magic fixes that somebody might be able to explain to me.
'03 4.0 4x4. Had the tranny rebuilt after a broken OD sprag.
Headed down the road after picking it up... and no AC! I'm headed for an appointment so I'll have to go back another day. Make a quick stop and flip on the AC out of habit, still no dice.
Get to my appointment, do my thing for a couple of hours, come back in and flip on the AC and now all of a sudden it's working, and the truck seems to have a little more pep in the acceleration than when I picked it up.
The only thing I can think of is everything was powered down in the shop for a couple of days, could it have had to relearn something before everything would work properly?
