How do I replace the headlights in a 2009 ford ranger xlt?

 

There are two bars you need to pull up on to get the lamps off. Its very easy to do, look near the top of the radiator support behind the head light for two small tabs that point towards the engine. Pull them up about two inches and the lamp will fall forward. You figure it out as soon as you get it off. Its a bit tricky to keep those rods off the lamp straight when you go to but it back on.

Pull headlight assembly out, turn plastic ring to loosen bulb harness, pull out bulb from headlight assembly, replace bulb. Reverse order to install.
