Hella Lights behind STX Grill
 

I know it's been done, lights behind the grill, but I just CAN'T make them fit. They are a set of Hella 500s so they are super common. I can't find a place to mount them where the fit behind the grill. Can't go into the top of the header panel, the grill prevents them from being angle properly. Can't go to the bottom because of the trans radiator. I think the STX insert sits back further. I have the wiring already run so if I can mount them it would be super easy for me to get them going.

If anyone has done this, can you post pics or tell me where you mounted? Preferably with an STX grill. I don't really want to mount outside the grill, but that's a last resort. I may need custom brackets to fit them behind the grill.

Also... might trade for smaller lights, let me know what you got. Main issue is thickness not diameter.
