I can't find a single god damn place to open up to put wire from the engine compartment into the radio dash area...

I've got like 3 different layers of metal and **** to go through..

Good ol firewall. I told you to find one of the rubber grommets. just look underdash in the footwell of the driver's side there's a couple grommets to put a small hole in to run the wires.

Just poke a coat hanger wire through the grommet from the inside then look in the engine compartment for it sticking out. I've bent a tiny loop on coat hangers and just pulled the wires through with that. They grommets hard to spot on the firewall inside the engine compartment if you don't know exactly where to look. At least with the cramped 4.0 engine bay it is.

Go for the hood release cable grommet. You can push the grommet out if you need to. Drill out a small section of the metal, use the ridged plastic tubing to shield the wires, shove the grommet back into place and voila, DONE!

WEll, I ended up making my own hole...

Lights work, but the switch won't illuminate...

Gotta find me a better ground source...
