Help with Truspeed 33002 Install Please

Hi all I have been assembling bits and pieces for a Superlift 4" lift and some other stuff for a while. This weekend I was going to install the Truspeed 33002 into my 09 FX4.

I looked at instructions and they reference 04 and older Rangers and talk about picking up the speed input from the GEM module. Obviously I don't have a GEM module.

I thumped around for a few hours on the forum (now I have an Exploder OH Console from Flea Bay as all you lads give me too many good ideas...) looking for info on speed sensor wiring. The problem is everything I have read for OHC install tells me to go to brown connector (C2280B) at Smart Junction Box. I looked at wiring diagrams in OEM manual and that seems to be the feed for the Cruise Control not whole truck i.e. speedo cruise and data links.

Then when I dug further I figured out that another feed was from pin #1 on PCM black connector (C175B) which is labelled "control mod. - vehicle speed output (VSOUT)" supposedly a white/orange wire.

Is this the wire I need to cut and run through Truspeed so that speedo, cruise and WHY is all changed by Truspeed signal?

I went with Truspeed instead of Bama chip (that's coming Doug I already have Magnaflow exhaust [am waffling on need for headers] and have SC, just saving to buy RP's kit) as I run two different tire sizes winter and summer. 33 x 12.5's don't do well in the snow. Factory 31 x 10's do. Flicking a switch at tire change time is simple and easy for a simple and easy sailor like myself.

Help please, thanks Dave

Guess I will never know... Called Superlift today and they do not make a recalibrator for 2005+ Rangers according to them.
