crooked steering wheel

when im driving straight, my steering wheel is turned a little to the right and it bugs me. is there another way to fix this besides having someone re-align it to straighten it out?

Why not just get it aligned so it's actually fixed instead of looking fixed?

it drives straight and the alignment is good because i just had it done but that is not the problem. since it was aligned, the steering wheel just isnt straight anymore and its only an appearance thing. its not hurting anything the way it is, it just bugs me and i would prefer it to be straight.

Take it back and have them redo it, they are supposed to center the steering wheel before doing the alignment which obviously they did not do.

I have the same exact problem only my is very extreme. Drives straight down the road but the wheel is pointing at 9 o'clock. Should I remove the steering wheel and reposition it?

This is on my 90 BII.

get it done right, and get it aligned. yes, you could just clock the steering wheel a notch or two, but why when you are still misaligned.

Ummm, the steering wheel should not come off to adjust...

You need to take it back to the place that aligned it... and make them redo it..

You can align the tires strait so it drives strait.... and the steering wheel is crooked ..

Your suppose to lock the steering wheel down strait.. then align it.. so its thier fault..

Take it back..

The reason your steering wheel is crooked is because your toe is off. They didn't finished the job. Just to make yourself look smart go down there and if they use a digital alignment machine tell them to use Wintoe that'll freak em out lol. (thats the program you use when setting your toe to make the steering wheel straight on all hunter alignment machines)
