HID help

I installed my HIDs last week (sorry no pics yet) when i turn them on they flash go blank warm up and comeback to normal do i have something hooked up wrong? also the little blue thing that plugs into the stock headlight plug you have to put 3 wires into it if i hooked the wire for the highbeams and lowbeams up backward would my lights still work i cant tell much difference between highs and lows here is the kits im running

ddm apexicon raptors 55w 9007 Hi/lows 6000k bulbs

theyre supposed to 'flash', get dim, then slowly work themselves up to power. this happens when the bulbs are cold...totally normal.

use a test light to figure out which stock wire is high beam and which is low. in my how-to, I use a single beam so the empty spot in the pics would be the high beam.

everything asked is covered in my how-to.

cool thanks man

also my lights are still at prefect stock adjustment but they need to be pointed down a bit any idea how far my lights reflect off of street signs 1/4 mile away

Yes the flickering is totally normal. Now if they flicker after being turned on for a while, either you have a bad ground or the ballast is bad.

You should have to adjustment bolts on your housings, one going up and one sideways. Tighten/loosen them to move the lights up and down as well as left and right slightly.
