jensen headunit with motorized screen

just bought this

anybody have it?

reading up on it, it seems like a pretty good headunit. can't wait to get it!

looks pretty good, i like the double din ones though with just a big screen all the time.

yeah its touch screen. i would like a double din one where the screen is always showing, but those are a bit out of my comfortable price range. maybe next time though.

I just wouldn't be able to stand it being in the way of my vents, that would drive me bonkers.

that wont bug me too much, the air is still gonna get to you one way or another. and im going to use my current mounting kit. and it mounts the radio on the bottom portion of the opening, so when the screen flips up, it shouldnt block them all the way.

not to be a dick... but you wasted your money. you could have spent a little more and got a nice pioneer or alpine. i've been through a jensen, two duals, and i finally saved the money and got a nice pioneer. hope you got a warranty.

not a fan of jensen, i have always owned pioneer, alpine, or KENWOOD... and currently in the truck i have a 6 year old pioneer, and never had an oun ce of trouble, and in the vert i have a pioneer premiere with an ipod hookup

yeah i currently have an alpine headunit. just wanted something different. we'll see how it works. and yes it has a warranty.

I wasnt trying to bag on you man. I had a couple jensen subs a year ago. they were OK but thats it. They just a cheaper company all around hence why there sold in targets. Iv never seen there upper end stuff so hell it could be amazing for all I know. Post back with some pictures and how its working out for you.

From what I've seen Jensen sort of has 2 levels of stuff. They have cheap walmart stuff that is junk then they have nicer stuff that cost a little more.

i have the jensen model vm9311ts....seems to be one of the previous models of the one you want....ive had it for 3-4 years and it works great...the only thing is the volume **** is a little screwy on cold days but nothing to get excited about.....its great...ipod interface is awesome...you should like it, i havent had any issues with mine

i know someone with it. works pretty well. he disabled the safety feature so you can run a dvd without being in park

ground the pink wire i believe is what he did. there is only one pink wire in the mess of them all.
