high frequency vibration in steering wheel

Ok so I had a belt chirp, checked the bearings and pulley alignment. Power steering pump pulley had about an inch of play in and out, 1/2 inch in 1/2 inch out. so had the PSP replaced. Now I have a high frequency vibration in steering wheel at all speeds and at idle doesn't seem to change regardless of RPM. The new pump seems loader then the old one also. It's a Cardone Pump from Advanced Auto. Thinking maybe a bad pump Help?

Might be a bad pump out of the box or you may have gotten some air in the system. With the engine running, try turning the wheels from full stop to full stop a couple times and recheck the fluid level.

Thanks Rev. I had already bled the system once, but I did it again, got some more bubbles out ( had someone watching this timea0, which took out the vibration for the most part, pump is a little less noisy. everthing seems to work fine. I have heard that the Carbone pumps tend to be louder thean stock. guess time will tell.

You can try getting any remaining air out of the system by turning the wheels side to side to full stop and holding for a few seconds. Do this two or three times. Repeat a couple more times over the next week.
