Got the Silverstar Ultra's In!

Well, they finally came in today, and took about a whole 10 min to put in:).. heres the wiered part, i took the old bulbs out, and guess what.. they are silvania.. not silverstar, but silvania none the less. and the manufacture date matches up dam close to that of my truck... ? could they have come stock with the truck? the model number is as follows:

HB5/9007 DOT 12V

I cant wait to see how they are once its dark out.. ive got bout another 2 hours till its dark.. dammit lol.. And i think my headlights need polished, they are starting to get yellow... hopefully these bulbs will still make a difference.. i need to adjust them too..

Yes Sylvania bulbs came from the factory. My truck had them in it. Date on the bulb is just about a month before my trucks build date.

You'll love the Silverstar Ultras. I know I love mine.

I hope it works better, but HID4300 plugins would have made you much more happy.

After having my high/low HID kit, I still prefer my Silverstars. The light just seems easier on the eyes and has better throw.

I had the standard Silverstars in for a year until one burned out. I replaced them with the Silverstar Ultra's and theres no real difference. There was a huge difference between the stock Sylvania and the Silverstars though.

Improperly aimed headlights will cause glare and blind other drivers regardless of what kind of bulb you have in there. If your HID's are blinding people, then you're doing it wrong.

I got a pair of the Hella lights with the headlights I just got on the F150. I may run them to try them out, but I have to take the headlight out to replace the bulb...

Well, finally got to test out the lights tonight! They are SOOOO much better than the original 9 year-old bulbs! I know they need to be adjusted.. when i turn the brights on, they are so high they dont touch the road at all... and i was flashed once with the dims on, but i dont think they are that high.. If i lower the highs, will it lower the dims(i know dumb question)

I like the chrome dipped bulbs. Then there is no color in the turn signal reflector, and the bulbs isn't as noticeable.
