How to adjust 94 ranger hood latch correctly?
 

One little thing that is annoying is my ranger hood latch or hood doesn't shut lock easily or properly . I have to slam it extra hard to get it to lock! It is not the hood all metal and components are great shape I just bought it like this .
I'd I set the hood down like you should and give it a good press it never fully locks it only locks in the first click "loose lock" only adjustment I see is the two rubber stoppers and the latch mechanism. The stoppers usually are the culprit but there clearly in the right spot cause with the hood slammed shut all the body linea line up Nicely. I've screwed them a few turns inward still no luck. I loosened the hood latch but it doesn't have any space for adjustment also have the same issue on pass side door with good door seals I have to slam that to get a flush shut . What components on both fix the adjustment.
