how to disable my seat belt warning light

howdy, I removed the passenger seat from my truck and uncliped the electrical connector that senses someone is sitting in the seat. now the airbag light is blinking. I used a paperclip to "bridge the two prongs in the connector and it still lit up. Will I need a resistor of some type???????????? or is the paperclip method not reliable??????? thanks p.s. I tried turning the airbag switch to off and its still lit up.

the plug is for the pre tensioner pyro...only way to turn the light off is plug the pyro back in

kalifornia,

What did you do to get rid of your flashing light ?

It would be interesting for other site members to know this.

Also, if you haven’t done anything yet, what type of switch is used in the seat, can you jump it ?
