How to do CC recall by yourself?

For those of us that added OEM CC after purchasing their Ranger, how do you "fix" the problem?

This is the reply I received from Ford:

Quote:
Thank you for contacting the Ford Motor Company Customer Relationship Center regarding the speed control recall program for your 2002 Ford Ranger

Your vehicle is not involved in any recalls or customer satisfaction programs at this time.

Vehicle Identification Number: 1FTYR14U42TA00800*

If you would like to check for recall information in the future please visit:
1. www.ford.com
2. Type in "Recall"

If you have any other inquiries, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to address them for you.

Sincerely,
Jill
