headlight switch

headlight switch

is the headlight switch suposed to light up. mine does not i have a 98 with the 3 position switch. let me kno what u think

Yes, there is a bulb in the headlight switch that should illuminate the 3 icons around the switch. On your 98, these should light whenever the head or parking lamps are on and the level can be adjusted by the dimming switch along with the rest of the dash illumination. It is fairly common for that bulb to burn out over time.

yeah mine is burned out also, im too lazy to take it all apart and replace it.
the bulb is hard as hell to find, i got one from autozone but they had to order it.
