Yeah you shouldn't be going in stuff like that in a stock truck. Get more stuff done to it before you try deep mud holes. No sense destroying a vehicle in a tiny little hole that others with slightly modded truck just cruise through. Also check the depth of hole before u go in it.

I didn't call you stupid but you did just hydrolock an engine. Just saying. Its just a stock Exploder not a mud truck. Be careful out there.

I would change the both diffs, because they probably have water in them. check the tcase, trans and power steering as well.

To clarify,
Hydrolocking a motor is not hydro siezing, it is short for hydraulic lock
Hydro static is the term for something that occurs when compression due to gravity is balanced by a pressure gradient which creates a pressure gradient force in the opposite direction. and has nothing to do with electricity. If you got water into everything electrical, it would not run

i had my truck under water but the intake was still above so the truck ran fine and back home, that was memorial day weekend... should i be worried about anything on my truck...
you should change the same things that daisy did and the things i told her to replace or check. You shouldnt need to replace the mass air flow sensor unless you get a fuel code or air related code. The mass air flow sensor operates at 392 degrees Fahrenheit above ambient temp, i think itll dry off, and hopefully not short itself out

Daisy, explain what you meant about it idling high and not going into "like crusin mode"?

before the air flow sesor got bogged out it would go into fifth gear and the put itself in like low gear just crusin at 1500 rpms like it had a spare gear for when your keeping a constant speed and now it wont go into that crusin gear and runs at 3000 rpms when your over 45mph

yes it is overdrive, when the maf is contaminated or defective it will shift goofy, you may have gotten away with cleaning it but it is fine that it was replaced as long as it fixed the problem
