i hate electircal
 

my reverse lights are not working. my fire and ice light bar is but not the reverse lights as well. i replaced the fuse and replaced my reverse bulbs and still nothing. so what am i missing?

Check your plug at the transmission. It's the one towards to top of the trans with red plastic on it. You may ned to go grab a new one from a junk yard. Take a 7/8 or 1in combo wrench. I've never heard of them going bad but its possible.

Do you have a trailer harness wired up, or is it plug in type? Also, you may want to check the wiring harness by your spare tire, if some water got into it, you may not have a good connection anymore. The first thing i would do, is unplug the harness by your spare tire, because if it is just a loose connection, it will save you time and money!

Start with a genuine Ford ETM (electrical troubleshooting manual), and a good test light or DVOM.
Don't bother with an aftermarket shop manual's schematics, they aren't detailed enough to do any meaningful diagnosis. You may be surprised how many connectors this circuit may have until it reaches it's final destination.
Every working electrical device's current travels in a circle (hence the word circuit), break this circle and it ain't gonna work.
This may sound easier said then done, electrical problems are one of my favorite to tackle.
Of course a few 'cold ones' doesn't hurt along the way too !
