nighthawks

i just installed some nighthawk platinum's after my eurolights fried after only 5 months of use, don't know why but what ever and I'm curious if there's a way i could use something similar to the nighthawks in my fog lamps. I'm no nothing of vehicle electrical so I'm not use what wattage they are or if the fog lamps wiring harness could support them or if they would run to hot and fry the housings, any help on this would be great.

I believe you can run 9005's in your fog lights with a very slight bit of modification. They would be brighter than the stock bulbs. No problems with heat or wiring. You can also get HID's for your fogs.

You most certainly can. Some members have to trim their 9005's to fit, and others just pop them in with a little wiggle. Moral of the story is, 9005's are 55W as oppose to the stocker 35W bulbs in there. Get a pair of 9005's in your fogs and you'll enjoy the brighter difference. Personally I've never needed to modify or trim the 9005's when installing a new bulb into the fog light housing.
