Hella 500ff install help

Hella 500ff install help

i need some help installing 4 Hella 500ff lights in the front of my ranger. I've never done anything like this so any help would be good. Thanks

A little more info would be helpful. Do you need help mounting them? Wiring? Do you have a box of lights and dont know what to do? lol

The lights should have come with directions and all the wiring you need

i have all the wiring, and im mounting them on my front prerunner bumper...but i dont really understand the wiring diagram that came with them

First get a relay. then wire it like this diagram.

I tried finding a diagram with a 5 pin relay that has a terminal for each light but found this instead haha

Can i connect them without connecting them to the high or low beams?

i tied mine into my marker lights... your never going to really want to turn the hellas on without the lights on anyways and this way even if you forget to turn the hellas off they will be shut down as soon as the lights are turn off on the truck.

BJB post mine goes there. use the supplied relay. all the wire should be together and already connected to the relay plug. follow the wiring diagram other have listed

I know it seems like a pita but main power should be a fused line directly from the battery and the sw can get power from either the Circuit Panel, any circuit that has the type of power you want - on all the time or on wit the key, or the sw can get power from the main battery line but make sure to fuse it too.

Short cuts always lead to problems down the road or on the trail when you don’t want them.
