ignition question

I'm in need of complete key set replacement for my 1995 Ford Ranger. Doors, ignition and glove box that share same keys.

Since Ford no longer manufacture them for that year since 2011 ... GRRR! Is there any OEM assembly for those sets of keys and cylinder work in other years? 1993 - 1997? or equivalent? is set of replacement interchangeable?

by the way it's a tilt steering wheel with anti-theft system V-6 4.0L manual tranny.

input to my question is very appreciated!!! Thank you!

Just have your existing cylinders re-keyed.

Remove Glove compartment lock
Remove door panels and then remove door locks, usually a siding tab in the door jam holds them in place but you need to remove the lock bar from the back to pull them out.

Ignition cylinder can be removed via pushing on a hidden button accessed from a hole under the steering wheel.
You must have a working key for this, turn key to RUN(on) then press button using long small screwdriver or ??.

Take all the cylinders to a locksmith and he can re-key them to a new key and make you copies.

OR......hit a wrecking yard and if they have the correct(working) key remove all the cylinders from the wrecked truck and install them in yours, check them all with the working key first.

'95 is too early for Ford PATS(Rangers got that in '99) so your anti-theft system shouldn't be tied to the key, i.e. RFID keys
