How come all of the descriptive writeups for doing the fog lamp mod to an 01-03 have been deleted or are unaccessible? I know the photobucket changes killed pictures on forums everywhere, but this is different. I'd like to do the mod to mine but don't know which pin on which relay to bend, and while I could eventually figure it out that doesn't fix all the broken threads.
When I try to access the ones that weren't deleted all I get is this:

From my memory, the fog lamp relay has five terminals. 3 terminals are in line together, the other 2 are perpendicular. The mod involves one of the three terminals at the edge of the relay, and it is one of the outer terminals as people were just bending the tab over to the side of the relay. I can't remember exactly which outer pin it was, but you have a 50/50 shot. A quick search tells me it's pin #2, so look up pictures of a 2001-2003 Ford Ranger Fog Lamp Relay and see if you can determine which pin is #2. The relay itself may tell you which pin is #2.

Disclaimer: I'm not liable if you choose to do this mod based upon my info. I can't guarantee that any of it is accurate as I have not done the mod myself and am only going off of what I can remember.
