Icon5 strange squeak... from transmission

ok i have started to have this really strange squeak coming from the transmission bellhousing... i have determined its not the engine belt since i removed it and started it for 20 seconds and the noise was still there... it makes the noise at idle and at speed... any ideas on what this could be?

That's what I was thinking also.

Is the sound the same whether the clutch is applied or not applied?

i have seen off shore knock off's from dorman selling for under 45 bucks.

i personally will be going with another ford part as this also drives the oil pump.

thanks mark... im willing to bet that this is the problem... im gonna call ford tomorrow and price these

the chinese made unit from dorman comes complete with the sensor and alignment tool
after reading up on the dorman one on RPS and TCCA im going to get the one from ford... sounds like the chi-coms are not making a good product
